About The Role

Are you passionate about sustainability and have a keen interest in the intersection of law, environmental regulations, and technology?

We're seeking a talented and driven individual to join us and support our growth whilst learning from our teams

Reporting directly to Laetitia, our COO, this is an unparalleled opportunity to contribute to our mission of driving positive change in sustainability.

There are four different axes through which you will be able to learn and help us grow.

Contract Management: Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts, agreements and other legal documents. You will be a key player in supporting our sales teams by providing legal insights and facilitating smooth business operations.
Legal Business Partner: Support all teams with legal matters, for example HR (employment topics), Product (IP), potential litigations and dispute resolutions matters, compliance (including GDPR), corporate matters… You will be expected to be polyvalent, keen to learn topics outside of your area of expertise, and work closely with our external counsels when needed.
Regulatory Insight: Develop and update concise one-pagers on various environmental and legal regulations for our teams (sales and marketing, but also product). This requires staying abreast of the latest legal developments within our industry, enabling us to adapt and thrive.
Research and Product Development: Conduct comprehensive research on Climate, Carbon, and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) regulations. Your insights will directly influence the design and features of our products, helping our customers comply with complex regulations.

Required Skills

Educational Background: You are on track to complete your law degree (preferably in corporate law) from a reputable institution, with a specialization or significant interest in environmental law.
Curiosity and Adaptability: We don't expect you to be an expert in all aspects of the law, but to be proactive in researching and solving legal issues by exposing key risks and allow us to make the right business decisions.
Regulatory Acumen: Excellent legal research skills (mastering legal databases) and an understanding of contract law and corporate law. Familiarity with international standards, environmental legislation and regulations is a plus.
Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to translate complex legal concepts into clear, understandable language for non-legal teams. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
Problem Solving & teamwork: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Languages: Proficient in both French and English

Please Note That

This position is based in Paris. Being located elsewhere is a deal breaker.
We require availability starting in early April.
We are looking for someone with an educational background in Law. This is a must, and all applicants who can not meet this criteria can not be considered for this internship.
