Vertical Agent Engineer - Paris (Mostly Remote 1/2 days a month in office)


A company deploying production-level AI agents for real-world computer use cases, with 500,000+ users through enterprise clients are looking for an AI Engineer to come in and join their team.


What will I be doing:


* Design, write, and iterate on prompts and function tool calls for specialized AI agents
* Set up evaluation and testing environments for vertical agents
* Diagnose performance issues and continuously improve agent accuracy
* Evaluate new agents and models against specific use cases
* Collaborate with fullstack engineers on custom frontends and tools
* Work with engineering team to prioritize feature development
* Work directly with enterprise customers from discovery to production deployment
* Discuss use cases and translate business requirements into technical specifications
* Provide ongoing visibility into agent performance and reliability metrics
* Follow up post-deployment to ensure successful production implementation


What we're looking for:


* Proven experience with large language models and agentic workflows
* Background working with enterprise customers and understanding their requirements
* Proficiency in TypeScript (Rust knowledge is a plus)
* End-to-end capabilities with strong product thinking


What's in it for me:


* €90,000 - €140,000 base salary dependent on experience plus equity package
* Remote-first with only 1/2 office visits per month in Paris
