Apave is looking for an Ingénieur chargé d'affaires specialized in Pressure Equipment / Welding (H/F).

Based in Marseille, the technical team plays a key role: enabling our clients to operate safely and contributing to the growth of the Apave Group in local territories. You will work within the Bouches du Rhône department.

What does your daily work involve?

After your onboarding, you will define needs, estimate costs, monitor, lead, and execute regulatory control missions and technical assistance, including acceptance, CE marking, construction follow-up, repairs, and requalification of new and operational pressure equipment. You will also conduct inspections in welding, such as validating Qualification of Welding Procedure Specification (QMOS) and Welder Qualification (QS). Additionally, you may inspect transport pipelines.

Over time, you may also conduct training in your area of expertise. You will independently perform your tasks and prepare reports after visits. You will receive technical training upon joining, which will equip you with the necessary skills for success.

Your background:

You hold an engineering or technician degree in welding or mechanical engineering with at least 3 years of experience in pressure equipment manufacturing, boiler-making, piping, or welding. An IWT or IWE diploma is a plus.

Your skills and personal qualities:

* Autonomous, rigorous, and capable of managing your projects. You will work in an environment dedicated to expertise and technical support for clients across various industrial sectors.
* Good interpersonal skills and enjoy client contact. You will participate in developing tailored technical support missions.
* Proficiency in English is a plus.
* Driving license B is essential for this role.
