Barrington James are excited to post a fantastic opportunity for one of our close clients. This company are a small Biotech in the process of entering into clinic this year. They have been backed by some serious investors in the industry and are looking for adhoc support within their clinical operations team, with the possibility of extending on long term with the company.

This opportunity is perfect for someone who is ambitious, independent and wants to play a key role in business development.


Responsibilities:

* Ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to GCP standards;
* Set strategy for the effective management and resourcing of future clinical trials;
* Identifies and selects high-quality clinical vendors in conjunction with appropriate team members by interviewing and assessing a vendor’s skill set;
* Ensures alignment with broader company strategic initiatives and business needs;
* Creates a resourcing strategy to support needs for all clinical programs and activities;
* Directly participates in and has accountability for overall clinical operations strategy and performance against key trial metrics;
* Creates and oversees execution Clinical Operations Strategy for all programs
* Manage all budgets, contracts, agreements, vendor payments and processes to conduct clinical trial programs in an effective manner.


Requirements:

* 10+ years of clinical operations experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry
* Global clinical trials / program management experience in oncology or immunology
* Home-based, but open to travelling to office towards the start of the contract
* Proven ability to lead multifunctional teams and mentor staff
* Strategic thinker and problem-solver capable of identifying risks and risk mitigation strategies
* Flexibility
