Beyond Talent is delighted to partner with a world-renowned luxury company seeking an expert and visionary Design Manager, Ladies' Tailoring to lead their in-house team. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and executing the creative vision for the ladies' tailoring category across both show and pre-collections. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of a celebrated brand and lead a dedicated team of talented designers and artisans.


Key Responsibilities


* Creative Leadership: Drive the creative direction for all ladies' tailoring, ensuring a strong and cohesive seasonal narrative that aligns with the overall brand aesthetic.
* Team Management: Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of designers, pattern cutters, and seamstresses, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
* Collection Development: Oversee the entire design process from initial concept to final runway, including fabric selection, silhouette development, and technical specifications.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with the Artistic Director, Merchandising, and Production teams to ensure the successful and timely execution of all collections.
* Trend Forecasting: Stay ahead of market trends, fabric innovations, and new tailoring techniques to ensure the brand remains at the forefront of luxury fashion.
* Quality Control: Maintain the highest standards of craftsmanship and fit, ensuring every garment reflects the brand's commitment to luxury and quality.


Qualifications


* A minimum of 6 years of experience in a senior design role, with a strong focus on high-end ladies' tailoring.
* A proven and extensive background working specifically within the luxury fashion sector is an absolute must. Candidates without this direct experience will not be considered.
* Proven experience in managing and developing a design team.
* A deep understanding of luxury fabrics, construction, and the intricacies of tailoring.
* An exceptional portfolio demonstrating a strong creative vision and a history of successful collection development.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
* The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, creative environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
