Job Description

A Day in the Life As Senior Legal Counsel - Zone Europe (Distribution & e‑commerce) you report to one of the Deputy General Counsels in the Zone Europe Legal team. You'll work on high‑stakes digital, e‑commerce and distribution projects across a fast‑moving, multicultural zone, with real ownership from day one.


Key responsibilities

* Shape and help implement Zone Europe legal strategy and roadmap.
* Advise operational and country teams on distribution, commercial strategy, RGM, advertising, data and consumer law.
* Conduct legal risk assessments for e‑commerce, new distribution models and M&A/integration projects.
* Draft, review and negotiate distribution agreements, commercial terms, leases and intragroup contracts.
* Coordinate pre‑litigation, litigation and responses to regulatory inquiries and audits with internal/external advisors.
* Build templates, guidelines, trainings and tools to simplify legal processes and enable scalable, consistent advice.


We Are Looking For

You're pragmatic, business‑minded and entrepreneurial - ready to "run it as your own business" while advising diverse stakeholders across the Zone.


You Bring

* Law Master's / legally qualified advisor in an EU or UK jurisdiction.
* Practical commercial legal experience in‑house or in private practice (at least 5 years).
* Extensive knowledge of distribution, competition, consumer, marketing and digital laws.
* Fluent English; strong command of French recommended.
* Core skills: Contract Drafting & Negotiation; Legal Risk Assessment & Compliance; Digital & E‑commerce Legal Knowledge; Stakeholder Management; Strategic Thinking & Business Acumen.
