In order to supervise all our wind and solar farms we are looking for a OCC Technician to join our Engineering and Operations department.
The main task will be the real-time monitoring of our production sites (wind and solar). You will also have to ensure compliance with the intervention protocols and follow the key performance indicators of our sites.
Site Monitoring:
• Monitor wind and solar plants, alarms, curtailment, malfunctions and breakdowns all over Europe • Call supervision: Monitor and manage the on-site interventions (log-in and log-off with collect of relevant maintenance information)
• Monitor and plan interventions with the grid manager (DSO,TSO)
• Communicate and trigger interventions with OMD and CGNEE Asset Managers through operation notification orders
• Optimise the week ahead maintenance plan taking into account, wind forecast, market price and human constraint
• Diagnosis of remote problem solving of communication issue, breakdown, grid failure…
Compliance with protocols and safety rules:
• Control access authorizations
• Share information with the SHE Team, project managers and subcontractors
• Ability to manage emergency situations
Performance indicator tracking:
• Management and event allocation on our Monitoring system
• Report and transfer communication problems
• Collect and report about operational statistics (major outages and component failures, communication failures…)
Other tasks:
• Assist the OCC Team leader and the leader of the department for reporting & statistical analysis tasks
• Data quality control and download
• Monitor of power curves, temperature and key operating indicators
• Participate to on-call duty during the week-end and CGNEE bank days
• Suggest some optimization of the process, OCC procedures and tools
• One of the main contacts within the department for support about our second layer scada web platform and OMD scada systems
You will be working in a team in order to perform continuous 08h/19h - 7d/7d monitoring.
Profile:
Qualifications:
• Engineering school or master’s degree or bachelor’s in renewable Projects, Data Science or specific related academicals background (Physics, mechanics…).
• First experience in the renewables or/end in a supervision/monitoring center. (including internships or work-study programs)
Interpersonal Skills:
• Excellent team player, team spirit, goal-orientated, dynamic with the skills to motivate others successfully.
• A quick learner and willing to solve problem.
• Excellent verbal communication.
Technical Skills:
• Data analytics, programming, good computer skills, and interest in the discovery of new tools.
• English, French and Chinese: Fluent
