Role: Health & Safety Officer

Sector: Offshore Wind

Mobilisation: Likely Portugal

Location: French / UK / Irish Waters

Rotation/Hours: Likely 1 week on, 1 week off - 12 hour Days

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: Ongoing

Rates: Negotiable D.O.E

Clearance: Medical Questionnaire & Proof of Right to Work in the EU



Duties:


• Attend H&S meetings and coordination meetings;

• Lead toolbox talks, briefing … and talks to promote H&S prevention with his working teams;

• Enforce safe behaviours on the worksite;

• Propose any initiatives to improve H&S performances of his teams;

• Report any unsafe acts and conditions and any environmental disturbance;

• Assist project representative in following H&S trainings and familiarizations;

• Contribute to incident and accident investigation and following related preventive and corrective actions;

• Facilitate interfaces between the main company he is belonging to and the project worksite Contractor and the Employer;

• Actively participate in cross inspections and audits.


Requirements:


* NEBOSH (or similar)
* Offshore Medical & Chester Step
* Full GWO's
* Experience with Subsea Geotechnical / Geophysical Surveys
