Overview
We are an ambitious team of 70 people, committed to innovation and operational excellence within the Tezos ecosystem. As we grow, we’re looking for a strategic and hands-on Director of Corporate Operations to strengthen our leadership team. This role is a unique opportunity to shape the company’s financial and legal foundations while contributing to key strategic decisions at the executive level.
Key Responsibilities
1. Finance & Accounting
* Lead the company’s financial management in partnership with chartered accountants and statutory auditors.
* Develop and oversee annual budgets and ensure effective cash flow management.
* Produce regular financial reports for executive leadership.
* Manage relationships with banking institutions and financial partners.
2. Legal & Compliance
* Ensure the company operates in full compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory frameworks.
* Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with clients, suppliers, and partners.
* Handle any potential legal disputes in coordination with external legal advisors.
* Monitor legal developments and anticipate regulatory changes that could impact the business.
3. Human Resources & Administration
* Oversee HR administration, including employment contracts, payroll, and legal obligations.
* Ensure compliance with labour laws and advise leadership on HR matters.
* Implement systems and processes to improve administrative efficiency.
Ideal Profile
* Master’s degree in finance, management, business law, or a related field (e.g. Master CCA, DSCG, business school, or Master’s in Business Law).
* Extensive experience in a similar role, ideally within a mid-sized company.
* In-depth knowledge of finance, accounting, and legal practices, with a strategic and business-oriented mindset.
* Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills, with the ability to engage international stakeholders.
* Interest or experience in the blockchain industry is a strong plus.
