Business Development and Partnerships is recruiting a :


Grant Office Manager


In this position, your missions are the following:

Research, prepare, submit, and manage grant proposals/reports that support agency goals and

meet funder guidelines and criteria.


Lead grant proposal development and submission—prepare and organize materials for

proposals, submit and monitor grant applications, including:

- Researching new funding and business development opportunities on a local, state, and

federal level;

- Maintaining and building relationships with funders and other strategic partners on a

local, state, and national level;

- Drafting proposals/LOIs, grant application narratives, and budgets and collaborate to

finalize with program staff, finance, and the Executive Directors;

- Monitoring and maintaining funder and investor reporting schedules and requirements;

- Assembling all necessary supporting materials and documents including budget

reports, outcome measurements, success stories, etc.; submit reports to funders and

investors.


Monitoring of ongoing partnerships

- You coordinate funded or internalized projects;

- You prepare reports to partners and negotiate critical points;

- You value partnerships internally and externally by contributing to the definition of the communication plan and writing presentation documents;

- You manage any grant conditioned by an R&D activity, including the research tax credit, in cooperation with the DAF and the operational divisions;


Management

- You organize and control work by creating performance-friendly working conditions;

- You create quality working conditions, by establishing efficient collaboration and ensuring a good flow of information within your team and with the entire organization;

- You adapt the practices in a perspective of continuous improvement;


Profile :

You have a PhD in science and at least 10 years of grant management experience. A scientific profile is required ideally in gene therapy o regenerative medicine and dual competence in science and marketing/business development would be appreciated.

You have experience with French and International grants and consortia (ANR, BPI, Horizon, ERC, Marie Curie…this is not an exhaustive list).

You are fluent in French and in English.

The ideal candidate for this role should have superior organizational skills, great leadership qualities, and exceptional transversal project management, budgeting and monitoring skills. The outstanding grants manager should re-enforce relationships with donors, ensure that grant programs operate efficiently, streamline grant administration, and keep our organization fiscally sound.
