Reporting to the Executive President, the Commercial Head will spearhead company’s European market entry, driving strategic development and operational excellence across retail, wholesale, and digital channels. This role demands a balance of strategic foresight, leadership, and hands-on execution to establish us as a premium sustainable brand in Europe.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Leadership & Business Development
* Define and execute the European commercial strategy, including market entry plans, sales targets, and long-term growth initiatives.
* Develop a robust business plan aligned with Compnay’s global vision, ensuring profitability (EBITDA, margins) and sustainable expansion.
* Oversee budgeting, sales forecasting, and financial performance analysis to optimize ROI and cost efficiency.
* Identify and capitalize on market trends, consumer insights, and competitive opportunities.
2. Retail & Wholesale Operations
* Lead the rollout of company-owned stores, franchises, travel retail, and partnerships with department stores/multi-brand retailers.
* Drive eCommerce growth, including collaboration with digital teams to enhance online platforms.
* Negotiate and manage contracts with partners, ensuring alignment with brand standards and profitability goals.
* Monitor sales performance across channels, implementing corrective actions and growth tactics.
3. Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration
* Build, mentor, and lead high-performing commercial teams (retail, wholesale, sales).
* Collaborate with Marketing/Communication teams to align brand messaging, promotions, and visual merchandising.
* Partner with the Paris Design Center and HQ to adapt product ranges, pricing, and calendars to European markets.
* Ensure seamless communication between European operations and global stakeholders.
4. Brand Integrity & Operational Excellence
* Uphold company’s sustainability ethos and premium brand image across all touchpoints.
* Optimize store operations, including visual merchandising, inventory management, and customer service standards.
* Oversee new store openings, lease negotiations, and operational workflows.
* Implement best practices in sales processes, CRM, and after-sales services.
Candidate Profile
1.Education & Experience
* Master’s degree in business, Fashion Management, or equivalent (MBA preferred).
* 10+ years in senior commercial leadership roles within luxury fashion (womenswear required, menswear a plus).
* Proven success in scaling retail/wholesale networks across Europe, including department stores and eCommerce.
* Deep understanding of luxury consumer behavior, sustainability trends, and omnichannel strategies.
2.Skills & Competencies
* Strategic Vision: Ability to translate high-level goals into actionable plans.
* Negotiation & Relationship-Building: Strong network with retailers, distributors, and industry leaders.
* Financial Acumen: Expertise in P&L management, budgeting, and EBITDA optimization.
* Leadership: Inspirational leader who fosters innovation, accountability, and team growth.
* Cultural Fit: Passion for sustainability, agility in cross-cultural environments, and alignment with company’s values.
3.Languages
* Fluent English and French (mandatory); Chinese proficiency is a plus.
