AV Operations Roles and Responsibilities
* Be main point of contact for any AV equipment issues
* Manage and coordinate physical installation of AV equipment, AV storage, spare stock, equipment shipping across Europe locations,
* Conduct maintenance and troubleshooting for AV systems, conference rooms (QSYS, AES67, DANTE), LED wall equipment (Sedna, Samsung, Planar)
* Execute ad hoc AV installation requests
* Decommission and transport AV equipment for room refreshes
* Communicate any configuration change to client and create backups.
* Troubleshoot and repair Crestron hardware and software (post-programming)
* Experienced in Crestron Toolbox and related hardwaresupport (including but notlimited to DM, NVX, Touch Panels, TX/RX pairs, HDMD, HDBT etc.)
* Track all requests and issues through Zendesk ticketing and communicate with the team through Slack
* Ensure that the correct information is being logged in all tickets
* Provide data to aid FTE in delivering specific reporting metrics
* Monitor AV ticketing queue and resolve tickets in a timely manner
* Monitor Slack channels and communicate needs and updates to the team
* Google Meet Admin support
* Assist with commissioning and turn over of new conference rooms and specialty spaces
AV Events Roles and Responsibilities
* Acting as event production Technical Director, Lead Video Engineer, and/ or Technical Production Manager switching
depending on show needs.
* Set up, configuration, operation, and facilitating support for event production spaces.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for all audio, video, and broadcast production needs.
* Use and follow the run-of-show document as a guide for proper show flow details.
* Partner with other crew members on the execution of elements both before and during shows
* Attending pre-show production meetings with crew to review responsibilities.
* Ensure testing of all show playback elements for proper play out.
* Ensure all switchers, graphics, mixers, microphones, and ancillary gear are in working order.
* Understand roles and responsibilities of an AV production team on events.
* Reset space after events to pre-production standards.
* Note any equipment failures and escalate to the AV team through the ticket system.
* Assist with inventory management and quality control for client owned equipment.
* Equipment Expertise:
* Audio, Video, and Networking Signal Flow & Troubleshooting
Qualifications and Skills:
* Comfortable working within Enterprise Google Suite(software and hardware)
* Experienced with all aspects of Commercial AV installation including cable pulling, rack building, cable management, various types of terminations (RJ45,DB9), structural accommodations/modifications, device installation, etc.
* Demonstrated project management experience with large projects, organizational skills and an ability to maintain standards.
* Experience working with and managing various vendors, suppliers and integrators.
* Understanding of networking technology, video transmission over network
* Ability to work well in a team environment, including talent, producers and directors, under strict time deadlines.
* Proficiency working with Mac OS, Windows, Chromebooks, and GSuite for Business
* Able to step into a crewed/operator position as needed i.e. V1,V2, Lighting, Playback
* Experience with hybrid and virtual events using Google Meet and Zoom
* Experience working on live events that involve multiple cues and high production value
* Experience with Google Slides, Slido and clicker systems
* If required, technician can travel to other locations within Europe region to provide service.
