Over the years, specialists at GRAPHITE TECHNOLOGY have developed and constructed thousands of graphite components and equipment for industries globally with demands for the highest resistance to corrosion. Our engineering team performs not only process design for heat exchangers, but also stress and mechanical calculations for the equipment which comply with worldwide standards (ASME, GB, AD-M). Additionally, we offer turnkey systems for chemical processes like dilution, concentration of acids and synthesis unit of hydrochloric acid.
To support our strong development globally, Graphite Technology Europe (headquarter located in the Netherlands) is searching for one dynamic sales area manager for Europe, the Middle East and North Africa
Main responsibilities
• Develop and manage sales channels and clients, and collect information on projects for chemical, pharmaceutical, steel manufacture, fertilizers, plastics and environmental protection industries in the area.
• Cooperate with other functional departments and sales agents to analyse customers inquiries and requirement on technical and commercial level.
• Negotiate contracts with customer according to his/her level of authorization and existing procedures.
• Follow up orders from delivery to payment.
• Input and follow projects inquiries in CRM software.
• Collect updated market and competitor information, expand the scope of market applications.
• Maintain and expand good business relationship with existing and potential customers and partners.
• Other tasks assigned by the Sales Director.
• Meet sales objectives.
Competency and skills required
• Bachelor's degree required
• 3+ years working experience with mechanical or science & engineering background, preferably majoring in chemical engineering and technology, process equipment, pharma and fine chemicals is preferred.
• Worked in chemical/pharmaceutical related companies or engineering design institute with chemical process designing experience is preferred. Familiar with process systems, such as evaporation and concentration.
• Extensive experience in direct sales with strong negotiation and persuasive skill.
• Resourceful, flexible, proactive, and eager to learn new portfolio solutions.
• Positive working attitude and can work under pressure independently.
• English reading/writing with strong PC skills.
• Adaptable for travelling including in EMEA region.
