Shift team leader (m/w/x)

A major industrial player in the automotive sector is looking for a committed and hands-on Shift Team Leader to supervise production teams and drive operational excellence. This role is ideal for a team-oriented leader with a strong background in manufacturing and a passion for continuous improvement.



Key Responsibilities:

* Supervise and coach production operators during shift operations.

* Develop team versatility to adapt to changing customer and production needs.

* Promote and monitor safe work behaviors and ensure compliance with safety rules.

* Provide leadership and direction to foster ownership, responsibility, and skill development.

* Deploy Lean tools and promote Lean thinking across the team.

* Support the team in achieving quality, yield, and volume targets in collaboration with Learning & Development.

* Lead improvement actions to reduce customer claims and enhance performance.

* Detect deviations, anticipate issues, identify root causes, implement corrective actions, and track progress.




Your Profile:


* Bachelor’s degree or technical qualification in mechanical or industrial fields.

* 3–5 years of experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.

* Willingness to work in a 3-shift rotation (3x8).

* Strong knowledge of logistics, inventory, and process control.

* LEAN mindset and experience with continuous improvement tools.

* Excellent analytical and leadership skills.

* Strong communication skills in English and French; German is a strong asset.

* Self-motivated, proactive, and aligned with company values.
