Thaleria is an IT Consulting and Development company founded in Brussels in 2018, specialized in providing services to European Institutions and large private sector organizations. Since then, Thaleria has grown to over 120 professionals focusing on 3 main activities in the fields of Software Development, Data & AI, and Cloud Services:

* On-premises consulting in Belgium, France, Luxembourg and the Netherlands.
* Fixed-price project development from our delivery centre in Lisbon.
* Emerging technologies research and development from our Thaleria Labs in Amsterdam.

What you’ll do

Thaleria's client within the European Institutions in Strasbourg is currently looking for the following profile:


* Develop and maintain software applications using Spring Boot and Java.
* Integrate various systems and databases using Kafka and gRPC.
* Collaborate with team members in an agile environment to deliver high-quality software solutions.
* Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.
* Work with cloud-based environments and contribute to the ongoing cloud setup.
* Utilize development tools such as VS Code or IntelliJ.
* Implement and manage clusters, Kubernetes, and containerized applications.
* Troubleshoot and resolve software issues as they arise.


Qualifications

* 10 years of experience as a hands-on software developer.
* Strong knowledge of Spring Boot, Java, Kafka, DB integration, and gRPC.
* Experience working in an agile development environment.
* Familiarity with development tools such as VS Code or IntelliJ.
* Knowledge of clusters, Kubernetes, and containers.
* Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
* Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with cloud-based environments.
* Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
