Position: Senior IoT Account Manager - Automotive, Telematics, Connected Cars

Our client is a scaling connectivity disruptor in the IoT and M2M space. They seek a dynamic and results-driven Senior IoT Account Manager - Automotive, Telematics & Connected Cars to join their growing French and International team. This role is focused on driving new business development and revenue growth in the Internet of Things and Machine-to-Machine connectivity sectors. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background in telecommunications, IoT solutions, and connectivity services, with a proven track record of securing high-value deals with enterprise clients.
As Senior IoT Account Manager (m/f/d) you will become part of the globally expanding automotive sales team.
You will be responsible for large strategic automotive accounts in your region France with a particularly extensive and complex IoT product and service portfolio.
Your focus will be on the development of new important automotive key accounts and the establishment of long-term and sustainable customer relationships at all levels.
Key Responsibilities include:
* Responsible for defining and setting up sales and account strategies as well as the strategic development of customer relationships.
* Responsible for the entire sales cycle, from needs analysis to the management of after-sales activities.
* Responsible for initiating and managing the preparation of quotations, including contract negotiations and the conclusion of contracts.
* Plan measures for customer support/retention/recruitment, carry them out and draw up sales plans for each customer (potential, targets, timeframe) and implement them.
* Coordinate project/selling teams, define requirements for the product portfolio and contribute to the implementation of marketing measures and customer events.
* Drive the continuous further development of our product solution to increase customer satisfaction and work to a high standard of quality in line with our customers' requirements.
Requirements:
* A degree (business informatics) or comparable professional training with a corresponding specialization and several years of professional experience in sales/key account management.
* Furthermore, you understand automotive company structures and have company-specific knowledge,
* Knowledge of the international automotive and industrial sector – thus a strong knowledge of the automotive ecosystem and the M2M market - and its players!
* Knowledge of automotive-specific M2M access, IoT solutions and products on the market hence a well-founded telco-knowledge.
