Mission


About the Role



We are currently looking for an experienced and committed Decommissioning Manager to take overall responsibility for the decommissioning organization within a major nuclear dismantling and demolition project at Ringhals 1 and 2.

This is a key leadership position within one of Sweden’s largest and most complex decommissioning projects, carried out in a safety-critical environment.

Reporting directly to the Project Delivery Manager, you will play a central role in ensuring that dismantling and demolition activities are delivered safely, efficiently, and in a well-coordinated manner.

This position requires a leader who can combine strategic vision with strong operational presence on site.




Main Responsibilities



As Decommissioning Manager, you will lead, structure and develop the operational organization throughout the execution phase of the project.

Your responsibilities will include:

* Taking overall responsibility for operational dismantling and demolition activities.

* Managing and developing the decommissioning organization.

* Planning, documenting and monitoring site operations.

* Providing technical leadership within the decommissioning scope.

* Managing personnel and workforce planning, with teams of up to approximately 150 employees.

* Ensuring continuous dialogue and collaboration with the client on work-related topics.

* Coordinating activities between internal teams, subcontractors, stakeholders and client representatives.

* Ensuring that safety, quality, planning and operational performance requirements are met.

* Supporting decision-making and driving practical solutions in a complex industrial environment.


Profil


Profile Required



We are looking for a candidate with:

* An engineering degree in a relevant technical field, such as production, logistics, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or equivalent.

* Experience in construction, demolition, production, process industry, or another heavy industrial environment.

* Several years of management experience, preferably within large-scale projects or complex organizations.

* Strong leadership experience in operational environments.

* Very good command of Swedish and English, both written and spoken.

* A valid Category B driving license.

Experience in nuclear, energy, hazardous environments, heavy industry or regulated sectors would be a strong advantage.
