Project leader for electrical r&t testing (m/f)

**Job Description:**

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a *Project Leader for Electrical R&T Testing (m/f)* to join our Electrical Systems and ElectroMagnetic Compatibility Tests Team based in Toulouse, France.

On a daily basis, Airbus is pushing hard to get better products & services in terms of operations, maintenance, performance and sustainability. To meet these targets, the future programs will on-board new equipment and technologies that will need to be validated and checked with new ways of working.

The Electrical Systems & Electromagnetic Compatibility Test team is strongly involved in supporting this trend and preparing the future through new ways of testing and preparation of the test means of tomorrow.


The team is working on 2 types of activities

* Current flying fleet (through certification tests, predictive maintenance, support to airlines, ...)
* The future aircraft (electrification trend, fuel cells, ...)


The selected candidate will be on-boarded into this dynamic team of more than 20 members

* Your challenges :*
* Be accountable in Time/Cost/Quality of all deliverables related to MicroHybridization part of Propulsion of Tomorrow (major milestones like PDR and CDR, test reports, ...)
* Ensure proper interface with overall project environment
* Steer relevant stakeholders and interact with all necessary communities (test means, design office, facility management, X-Lab, ...)
* To be actively involved within a significant volume of testing to gather competences and skills and spread this knowledge into the team

Applicants will need to demonstrate their competence in electrics/power electronics (Master of Science and potential experience) and a sound knowledge in project management


* Basics of aeronautical products and related environment would be an interesting plus
* Candidate should be fluent in English
* A strong ability to work with evolving constraints and to prioritize tasks
* The ability and will to foster collaboration and team spirit
* A hands-on and problem solving approach
* Being a tester profile


Business travels are expected in Europe (Ottobrun) or in the world and consequently, you must be willing to travel accordingly.

This position requires a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.
