Location: The software division is located at Safran Aircraft Engines site in Réau, fostering close relations with clients and promoting a dynamic, responsive environment.

Team & Projects: Within the Technical Department, you will join the Software Engineering Division, comprising about 400 engineers. You will work in multidisciplinary teams across multiple sites, designing embedded software architectures for high-tech products in aerospace, land, and maritime sectors, emphasizing synergy and collective intelligence.

Your Mission: As part of the software engineering team, your role will focus on developing embedded software for aircraft avionics controllers in leading aircraft systems. You will handle software versions and ensure operational maintenance, working closely with project leaders.

Challenges & Technologies: You will contribute to addressing cybersecurity, decarbonized aircraft, urban air mobility vehicles, and more, engaging in all development phases with agility and innovation, interfacing with electronics, mechanics, production, safety, and cyber teams.

Responsibilities:

* Propose technical solutions and ensure compliance with requirements and methodologies.
* Manage costs, deadlines, and quality of deliverables.
* Report progress to project leaders.
* Occasional travel may be required.
* Technical English proficiency is required.

Candidate Profile: You hold a BAC+5 degree in software engineering and have over 5 years of successful experience in developing critical embedded software or working in regulated environments. You are proficient in the entire software development cycle and tools such as DOORS, Reqtify, SCADE, Simulink, C/C++, Python, Trace32, RTRT, TestStand, and configuration management tools like Synergy and GitLab. Expertise in DO-178 certification, software architecture, real-time systems, testing environments, and cybersecurity is preferred.

You demonstrate leadership, analytical skills, and the ability to organize and communicate effectively. Autonomous, communicative, dynamic, rigorous, organized, with good interpersonal skills, and a team-oriented mindset.
