In particular, the candidate will be focused on Canada, the United States, Mexico, and Latin America. He will serve the group's companies to facilitate their sales and business development. He will also oversee the various Safran SA subsidiaries in the countries under his responsibility. We are also counting on his commitment to developing a network of high-level contacts to contribute to the influence of the entire Safran group. KEY MISSIONS 1. Strategic Regional Leadership & Representation - Act as the Group's senior representative for the region, fostering Safran's visibility and influence with public authorities, industry stakeholders, and institutional partners. - Develop, maintain and animate a high-level network across the region, including industrial, governmental, regulatory, and business circles, in support of Safran Group objectives. - Represent and advocate for Safran as required, notably in regional events, industry associations, forums, or with French and foreign authorities. - Ensure consistency and alignment of Safran's messaging, actions, and presence across all countries and business lines in the region. 2. Support and Oversight of Country Delegates or Country General Managers& Local Entities - Manage, support and empower the Country Delegates or Country General Managers reporting to the Regional Director. Set annual objectives, monitor their execution, and rigorously evaluate performance. - Oversee the recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing professional development of Country Delegates; directly identify and propose new profiles. - Guide Country Delegates or Country General Managers in the execution of their missions (representation, risk analysis, intelligence, business support, network building, compliance, crisis response). - Regularly review, consolidate, and synthesize country-level information, risk analyses, and business intelligence for use by Group headquarters and business units. 3. Regional Business Development & Commercial Intelligence - Proactively propose, support and implement commercial development actions to generate sustainable growth and value for Safran companies in the region. - Drive intelligence gathering across commercial, industrial, technological and geopolitical domains; translate these insights into actionable plans for the Group and its entities. - Evaluate regional Business Partners (consultants, intermediaries, distributors, etc.); oversee compliance, risk assessment and rationalization of the BP network. - Advise and manage on market entry, expansion, M&A, and localization strategies, leveraging regional expertise and local teams. Parlons de vous KEY MISSIONS - Build a robust and dynamic pipeline for business opportunities, including mapping of stakeholders, funding opportunities and regulatory factors. 4. Governance, Compliance and Risk Management - Coordinate and supervise the implementation of Safran's Group compliance standards, ethics, and internal controls regionally, especially regarding the evaluation and management of third parties. - Ensure compliance and business integrity in all regional activities, including local legal entities, representative offices, and shared service centers. - Assess, report, and actively manage regional and country-level risks (geopolitical, reputational, regulatory, commercial). - Foster a strong culture of integrity, responsibility, and best practice sharing amongst Country Delegates or Country General Managers and company teams. 5. Operational Coordination and Group Synergy - Coordinate transversal projects and initiatives with a regional or multi-country impact, ensuring integration and optimal allocation of Group resources. - Facilitate the set-up and development of shared service centers or local support services when relevant. - Act as a connector and facilitator between Paris HQ, country organizations, BUs, and local external partners. - Organize and lead regional events, such as Safran TechDays, business workshops, or thought-leadership panels, to enhance the Group's influence and engagement. 6. Strategic Planning and Reporting - Consolidate and synthesize regional intelligence and strategic recommendations for international management and central functions. - Design and implement the regional annual action plan (aligned to DIRI strategy), following up on its deployment, adaptation, and impact assessment. - Ensure regular, high-quality reporting to DIRI management regarding regional and country actions, strategic opportunities, major risks and issues. - Coordinate crisis or incident response in the region, in collaboration with country teams and corporate crisis management.
