About the role
This role focuses on integrating marketplace operations and Cloud Desk functions into existing sales workflows and global deal desk processes. The goal is to treat marketplace transactions like any other deal to avoid operational silos and enhance efficiency. The lead
will provide strategic vendor and partner enablement, aligning with models from AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. The role will also ensure smooth collaboration between hyperscalers, vendors, andinternal teams, driving operational improvements, training, and enablement. Additionally, the lead will work with the Digital team and a Business Analyst/PMO to create scalable processes for streamlined operations.
Key Responsibilities:
This is a two-year contract position, with a strong possibility of transitioning to a permanent role afterwards.
Create and manage a communication package to ensure clear and consistent messaging across teams, improving alignment and marketplace operations.
1. Vendor & Reseller Enablement:
· Support vendors and resellers with marketplace strategies.
· Provide regular training for partners and internal teams.
· Serve as the main point of contact between vendors, hyperscalers, and internal teams for real-time support.
2. Cloud Desk Operations Integration:
· Integrate Cloud Desk into sales workflows, ensuring marketplace deals are managed efficiently.
· Oversee marketplace operations, including private offers and co-sell deals, and identify new opportunities.
3. Strategic Hyperscaler Collaboration:
· Align Cloud Desk with AWS, Azure, and Google models for co-selling.
· Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to grow the marketplace business.
4.Performance Tracking:
· Monitor key metrics such as transaction volumes, deal velocity, and partner engagements.
· Use data insights to identify co-sell opportunities and improve collaboration.
5. Scaling Cloud Desk Operations:
· Expand Cloud Desk coverage to multiple regions and hyperscalers as the multi-cloud strategy grows.
· Standardize processes to reduce the need for re-training and focus on high-value activities.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE | About you
* 3–5 years of experience in sales operations, partner enablement, or cloud program management in ISV, cloud, or IT channel environments.
* Proven track record working with hyperscaler ecosystems like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Marketplace.
* Strong understanding of cloud marketplaces, digital selling motions, and channel sales models.
* Skilled in project management, stakeholder engagement, and data-driven decision-making.
* Proficient with tools such as Salesforce, vendor and marketplace portals, BI, and analytics platforms.
