Your Missions:
For our new showroom located in the midst of the Marais district in Paris, we are looking for a dynamic and motivated Wholesale Area Manager. Reporting to the Senior Wholesale Manager, you will manage relationships with wholesale customers, develop sales strategies, and analyze market trends. You will also ensure that the brand's image and strategy are upheld.
Key Responsibilities
* Developing the B2B revenue in France working with the wider commercial team.
* Managing relationships with existing customers, included Key Accounts, wholesalers and E-commerce, to ensure customer retention while actively identifying new opportunities.
* Scheduling, attend and handling sales meetings (included the product presentation) while ensuring order entry with Joor system during seasonal sales campaigns.
* Effectively communicating to customers brand strategies and seasonal budgets previously established with the Sales Management.
* Ensuring the achievement of assigned sales budgets focusing on sell-in tracking results to ensure results are achieved.
* Carrying out follow-up activities on orders and monitoring them in accordance with shared quality standards, working closely with the Customer Service Team (shipping/payments).
* Seek and maintain knowledge on each account’s status to assess full potential and further growth opportunities.
* Managing all post-sales campaign activities, including planning client visits to ensure product trainings both in store and video calls and visual merchandising is aligned with company’s guidelines.
* Analyzing sell-out reports to prepare call-to-action plan to increase numbers and to maximize brand performance (e.g. proposing replenishments and in-season product swaps, in store installation, social media, etc.)
* Collaborating with the Trade Marketing Team to implement and coordinate activities for assigned clients to improve brand visibility.
* Conducting prospecting activities, identifying market opportunities, and analyzing trends and key competitors to identify opportunities and adapt strategies accordingly.
* Ensuring customer satisfaction across the French territory.
* Manage a client portfolio – to manage a sales team, you must also be able to actively work in the showroom.
* Leading commercial agreements negotiations, ensuring optimal conditions and terms while maintaining strong customers relationships.
* Attending company’s sales meeting in Milan before each market to maintain engagement and excellent performances.
Required Qualifications:
* Previous 5–6 years in commercial role experience, ideally from wholesale environment - streetwear/luxury fashion is mandatory.
* Strong product sensitivity, particularly toward clothing/fashion in the streetwear and luxury segment.
* Analytical skills and the ability to identify new business opportunities.
* Ability to drive sales in the showroom and maximize performance.
Additional Profile Attributes:
* Strong team-work skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* Availability to travel (the role will require you to be on the road minimum of 3 days a week)
* Fluent in English and French are mandatory (knowledge of a third language is a plus).
* Proficient in digital tools, especially Microsoft Teams and Excel; familiarity with ERP and CRM systems is a plus.
