Commercial Tech Lawyer (French Qualified) - 6 months contract

An opportunity for a French-qualified IT & Commercial Lawyer (6–7+ PQE) to join a global technology platform on a secondment basis. This is a hands-on role within a collaborative legal team, supporting a broad range of technology, regulatory, and commercial matters.

The Role

* Advising on a wide range of IT and technology agreements, including SaaS and complex commercial contracts
* Supporting on financial regulatory matters (e.g. digital resilience and regulatory compliance frameworks)
* Providing guidance on data protection and emerging AI-related issues
* Assisting with general commercial contract negotiations and advisory work
* Supporting occasional marketing and consumer-related matters
* Working closely with internal stakeholders and external counterparties, including large financial institutions

What We're Looking For

* French-qualified lawyer with 6–7+ years' PQE (happy to consider outside of this)
* Strong expertise in IT contracts and commercial agreements
* Exposure to financial regulation, data protection, or AI is advantageous
* Must be available to start in July
