Mission Overview:
The Group Data Governance team in Saint-Gobain Group Digital & IT department is seeking a Collibra project manager to contribute to the deployment and support of the Collibra Data Catalog in the Group. She/He will ensure the successful implementation and ongoing management of the Collibra platform, which is essential for enhancing our data governance practices across the organization.
Objectifs et livrables
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Deployment of Collibra Data Catalog:
Oversee the end-to-end ongoing deployment process of the Collibra Data Catalog on different use-cases (Program, projects, transversal needs, …).
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives in compliance with the Group Data Governance framework.
Develop and execute a detailed project plan, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
Manage Collibra Development Team:
Lead and coordinate the efforts of the Collibra development resource (1FTE in India), ensuring effective collaboration and communication.
Provide technical guidance and support to developers, fostering a productive and innovative work environment.
Conduct regular team meetings to review progress, address challenges, and celebrate achievements.
Backlog Management:
Manage the product backlog, prioritizing tasks based on business needs and stakeholder feedback.
Ensure that the backlog is well-defined, with clear acceptance criteria and estimated effort for each item.
Facilitate sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to ensure continuous improvement in the development process.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Act as the primary point of contact for all stakeholders regarding the Collibra Data Catalog project.
Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.
Gather feedback from users and stakeholders to inform ongoing enhancements and support.
Training and Support:
Develop and deliver training sessions for end-users to ensure effective utilization of the Collibra Data Catalog.
Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for users, addressing any issues that arise post-deployment.
Create and maintain documentation related to the Collibra Data Catalog, including user guides and technical specifications.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in leading the deployment of data governance tools, specifically Collibra Data Catalog.
Strong understanding of data governance principles and best practices.
Experience managing development teams and agile methodologies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Technical proficiency in Collibra and related data management technologies.
Relevant certifications in data governance (DAMA…) or project management (e.g., CDMP, PMP) are a plus.
Deliverables:
Successful deployment of the Collibra Data Catalog within the specified timeline.
A well-managed backlog with prioritized tasks and clear documentation.
Training materials and sessions conducted for end-users.
Regular status reports and updates to stakeholder
