This innovative and fast-growing company is developing a high-impact solution. Their flagship product, a mobile application used directly by end customers is currently undergoing major technical structuring.


YOUR ROLE

* Code reviews and defining/improving backend processes
* Providing technical leadership for the backend team (without HR responsibilities)
* Hands-on management of three backend developers
* Contributing to technical architecture decisions alongside the CTO, Head of Engineering, and Product Manager
* Participating in the team structuring strategy, including future recruitment of individual contributors
* Actively developing new backend features
* Ensuring application quality, performance, and stability
* Sharing best development practices, offering technical mentorship, and supporting junior developers


YOUR PROFILE

* Minimum 5–6 years of backend development experience, including work with Python APIs
* Strong expertise in Django (at least 2 years in a production environment) OR FastAPI
* Good understanding of performance challenges, particularly real-time requirements
* Experience in a scale-up or startup environment
* Ability to contribute to architectural decisions, codebase structuring, and process definition
* Strong team spirit and passion for knowledge sharing
* Natural leadership and a proactive mindset
* Rigorous, autonomous, and technically curious
* Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with product, tech, and business teams
* Degree in a technical field (e.g., engineering school such as EPITA, Epitech, etc.) is a plus
* Good command of both French and English, written and spoken
