Dans le cadre de la structuration de notre pôle TV et du développement de nos applications multi‑plateformes, nous ouvrons un poste d’Engineering Manager Frontend (Cross‑Platform Apps). Ce rôle clé vise à manager les équipes Front (Web/Smart TV, Android, iOS, QML) et à garantir la cohérence technique, la qualité et la fluidité des interfaces Free TV sur nos Freebox ainsi que dans nos applications (Smart TV, Web, iPhone, TV OS, Android, Android TV, Fire TV…). Tu interviendras à la croisée de la technique, du produit et du management, dans un environnement réactif où la prise d’initiative est valorisée.
Responsibilities
* Management & coordination
o Manager and animate 4 front teams (~15 people), each led by a technical lead.
o Create a team dynamic based on collaboration, rigor and proactivity.
o Support the skill growth of leads and developers (mentoring, coaching, feedback).
o Drive a culture of delivery and quality while maintaining a climate of trust.
* Project & method steering
o Ensure coherence and tracking of cross‑platform developments (Web/Smart TV, Android, iOS, QML).
o Supervise sprint and release planning (agile cycles 2+1 weeks).
o Adapt the Agile method to operational needs without excessive rigidity.
o Provide clear visibility on roadmaps and priorities to Product and Tech teams.
* Technical expertise
o Understand cross‑platform environments and their constraints (performance, API, TV).
o Challenge architectural choices and estimates, without necessarily coding daily.
o Encourage knowledge sharing and technical capitalisation across platforms.
* Direction & communication
o Act as a liaison between Front teams and technical & product leadership.
o Participate in arbitrations, road‑map presentations and strategic follow‑up.
o Contribute to cross‑functional communication and unblock resolution.
Qualifications
* 10+ years of experience in software development, including 3 to 5 years in Front lead or management roles.
* Solid background on cross‑platform environments and TV performance challenges.
* Ability to understand code, challenge technically and support decision‑making.
