About the Role:


As Chef de Partie on this luxurious Sailing River Boat, you'll be in charge of crafting the entire food offering for a select group of 14 guests, either as individual couples or private groups. This exciting opportunity is perfect for a Chef de Partie or Junior Sous Chef candidate ready to step up into a leadership role. You will have the freedom to create exceptional dishes, using only the finest ingredients, regardless of cost. From breakfast to dinner, you'll have the creative license to design a memorable dining experience every single day. You will lead a team of three chefs.


You’ll work closely with the Yacht Manager and the General Manager, ensuring the culinary experience matches the luxurious and bespoke service expected on this exclusive sailing yacht. It’s an extraordinary chance to bring your culinary vision to life in an environment that blends luxury, adventure, and tradition.


Key Responsibilities:

* Oversee the food offering for up to 14 guests per sailing, creating unique menus that cater to small groups or large private groups.
* Collaborate with the Yacht Manager to design menus that pair seamlessly with the luxury experience and enhance the journey along the Nile.
* Lead a small, dedicated kitchen team (4 chefs) to ensure smooth operations, exceptional food preparation, and presentation.
* Develop a daily menu that includes breakfast, lunch (à la carte), and dinner (tasting menus), ensuring quality and consistency at all times.
* Take full advantage of your creative freedom, using any ingredients necessary to craft exciting and innovative dishes—there are no budget constraints!
* Implement cost control measures, monitor KPIs, and assist with menu planning and engineering.
* Foster a positive and efficient work culture, emphasizing teamwork and high standards in a luxury environment.


What We’re Looking For:


* A Chef with experience in luxury hotels, fine dining restaurants, or prestigious culinary settings.
* A strong creative flair with a passion for developing exciting menus and experimenting with new dishes.
* The ability to take full ownership of the food offering, designing menus daily for a select group of 14 guests with the freedom to use any ingredients you need.
* Strong organizational skills and the ability to plan ahead for each sailing, even in a remote setting.
* A collaborative leadership style, with experience guiding and inspiring a small team in a high-performance kitchen.
* Flexibility to adapt quickly and efficiently to any challenges that arise in the kitchen.


Package:

* Good Tax Free salary per month.
* All meals included.
* Paid 45-day work periods followed by 15-day paid holidays.
* Staff accommodation provided, including a shared room with the Yacht Manager.
* Uniforms, meals on board, and phone & internet expenses covered.
