As a trusted customer advocate Solutions Architects help organizations understand best practices around advanced cloudbased solutions and provide advice on strategies for migrating existing workloads to the cloud. Youll help drive successful business outcomes across a broad set of enterprise customers through your passion for educating training designing and building cloud will have the opportunity to help shape and execute a strategy to build deep adoption and broad use of AWS within your enterprise customers and you will do this by mobilizing resources within AWS and working with our extensive partner network.

Key job responsibilities

In partnership with the sales team formulate and execute a sales strategy to exceed revenue objectives through the adoption of AWS

* As a key member of the business development and sales team ensure success in building and migrating applications software and services on the AWS platform
* Educate customers of all sizes on the value proposition of AWS and participate in deep architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud
* Conduct onetofew and onetomany training sessions to transfer knowledge to customers considering or already using AWS
* Capture and share bestpractice knowledge amongst the AWS solutions architect community
* Author or otherwise contribute to AWS customerfacing publications such as whitepapers
* Build deep relationships with senior technical individuals within customers to enable them to be cloud advocates
* Act as a technical liaison between customers service engineering teams and support.

About the team

AWS Sales Marketing and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue adoption and growth from the largest and fastest growing small and midmarket accounts to enterpriselevel customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that worldclass support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building missioncritical applications on top of AWS services.

The Amazon Web Services (AWS) Solutions Architect team partners with customers to design and build some of the most scalable flexible and resilient cloud architectures and solutions. AWS Solutions Architects collaborate with AWS Sales and other AWS teams to help address customer business challenges and accelerate the adoption of AWS services.

Basic qualifications

Background in any of the following : Cloud Architecture Systems Design Software Development Infrastructure Architecture Data Engineering or DevOps.

Have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business product and technical challenges.

A passion for technology and for learning.

Preferred qualifications

The following qualifications are desired but not required :

Experience designing building refactoring or operating large scale and impactful IT systems either on premises or in the cloud.

Working knowledge of cloud native architectures.

Working knowledge of multiple technology domains such as distributed internetscale web or mobile applications DevOps Serverless Big Data analytics Machine Learning enterprise workloads (SAP VMware Windows etc. highperformance databases (SQL and / or NoSQL) complex networking implementations highly secured workloads etc.

AWS certification (e.g. AWS Solutions Architect Associate or Professional) or other industry certification.

8 years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development cloud computing systems engineering infrastructure security networking data & analytics) experience

3 years of design implementation or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience

10 years of IT development or implementation / consulting in the software or Internet industries experience

Bachelors degree in computer science engineering mathematics or equivalent

Ability to speak French

1. Broad technology experience including : cloud architecture applications development relational databases NoSQL databases analytics machine learning networking security storage DevOps containers serverless CI / CD management and monitoring cloud migrations IT transformation.
2. Experience architecting / designing solutions built on cloud ideal but not required (AWS Azure GCP).
3. Experience migrating or transforming legacy solutions to the cloud.
4. Presentation and whiteboarding skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with internal and external executives IT management and technical teams.
5. Excellent communication skills with an ability to right level conversations.
6. Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly.
7. Meets / exceeds Amazons leadership principles requirements for this role.
8. Meets / exceeds Amazons functional / technical depth and complexity for this role.
