Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a *Systems Functional Architect* (f/m) to join our *Systems Design Methods & Tools* based in Toulouse, France.

You will be part of a team developing digital solutions for the *Aircraft Systems Design* domain. As part of the *Methods and Tools Team*, you will be involved in the *Digital Transformation and data-driven decision making* aiming at *enabling world-class Aircraft Product design that is secure and compliant* .

* Your challenges:*
* Translate* Aircraft System Designers' needs into functional requirements and *rapidly prototype* high-value, viable technical solutions
* Industrialize* prototypes by collaborating with *IS/IT partners* (Cybersecurity, Data governance) to deliver *secure-by-design, compliant, and cost-efficient* final solutions
* Define and maintain* the long-term consistency and evolution roadmap for solutions based on evolving aircraft design needs and industry digital standards
* Conduct* structured trade-off analyses between available technological options to establish a logical, value-driven basis for all design decisions
* Champion* the adoption of new, data-driven methodologies, ensuring users benefit from the latest state-of-the-art means in their daily work
* Your boarding pass:*
* Master's degree (or equivalent) in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
* Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience in Functional Architecture, IT Development, or Systems Engineering
* IT Development:* Required experience in designing and implementing *multi-tool solutions*
* Architectural Modeling:* Ability to model data and business activities using an enterprise architecture framework (e.g., *Archimate3* )
* Rapid Prototyping:* Proven ability to quickly build working models for needs interpretation and solution assessment
* Compliance Focus:* Strong knowledge of secure development practices and an uncompromising mindset on compliance standards
* Data Analytics:* Beginner level knowledge of data analysis principles
