Project Controls Lead – Offshore Wind Farms


Location: Europe (Flexible, with occasional travel to Paris)

Are you ready to take the lead in driving successful offshore wind farm projects? We are looking for a highly skilled Project Controls Lead to join our dynamic team and oversee all aspects of project controls, including risk assessment, planning, and cost control, for major offshore wind construction projects across Europe.


About the Role:

As the Project Controls Lead, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our offshore wind projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget. You will lead a team of planners and cost controllers, guiding them in the development and implementation of robust project controls processes. Working closely with cross-functional teams—including engineering, procurement, and construction—you will provide strategic insights and reports that help mitigate risks and optimize project performance.


Key Responsibilities:

* Lead and mentor a team of planners and cost controllers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
* Develop, maintain, and improve project controls procedures tailored to the offshore wind sector.
* Oversee detailed project planning, scheduling, forecasting, and budgeting activities.
* Conduct thorough risk assessments and ensure effective reporting and mitigation strategies are in place.
* Collaborate with project management and engineering teams to monitor progress and implement corrective actions as needed.
* Manage interfaces with contractors and suppliers to ensure alignment on project controls and reporting standards.
* Prepare and present comprehensive reports to senior management and stakeholders, highlighting key risks and financial performance.


Candidate Profile:

* Fluent in English with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proven experience in project controls at a management level, with a strong background in risk assessment, planning, and cost control/engineering.
* Demonstrated expertise in offshore wind projects is essential.
* Solid understanding of the technical and commercial aspects of offshore wind farm construction.
* Ability to work independently and lead a geographically dispersed team effectively.
* Based in Europe and available for occasional travel to Paris.
