About the Role

Smyth & Co is delighted to represent one of our most exclusive international partners in the search for an exceptional Assistant General Manager for a high-profile new opening in the heart of St. Germain, Paris.

This is an extraordinary opportunity to join one of the city’s most anticipated restaurant launches — a luxury Mediterranean and Asian dining concept blending world-class cuisine, design, and atmosphere.

Set in one of Paris’s most vibrant and iconic neighbourhoods, this venue will attract a global clientele of tastemakers, creatives, and VIPs.

The Role

As Assistant General Manager, you will:

* Partner closely with the General Manager and ownership to ensure an outstanding opening and seamless ongoing operation.
* Lead and inspire a large front-of-house team to deliver warm, intuitive, and flawless service.
* Uphold brand standards of excellence across guest experience, team culture, and operational performance.
* Manage daily operations, reservations, floor management, and guest relations in a high-volume, high-end setting.
* Collaborate across departments to achieve financial targets and exceptional guest satisfaction.

The Ideal Candidate

You will bring:

* Proven experience in high-end or Michelin-level restaurants, luxury lifestyle venues, or five-star hotel dining.
* A hands-on leadership style, with strong people management and training ability.
* Deep understanding of both Mediterranean and/or Asian dining cultures.
* Excellent communication skills in English;
Frenchis highly desirable.
* Availability to start or relocate immediately to Paris.
