En 2017, Haddad Brands Europe, est née quant à elle de la rencontre des dirigeants de Haddad Brands US et de quatre entrepreneurs français, spécialistes de vêtements sous licences, connaissant parfaitement le marché européen.

Haddad Brands Europe, founded 6 years ago, is specialized in the Europe-wide distribution of children's apparel under exclusive licenses (Nike, Levi's, Converse, Jordan, Polo Ralph Lauren, Abercrombie & Fitch, Huggies and Lacoste). The company has experienced incredible growth since its creation, and already has over 500 employees across Europe. We distribute our products both wholesale, with major specialist and multi-brand manufacturers, and retail, via our corners in department stores.

To support our Merchandising team, we are looking for a Merchandising Manager on permanent contract.

Key Responsibilities:

* Responsible for the product strategy laid out in partnership with the European Merchandising Director.
* Create seasonal line plan on style color level that meets the European market demands.
* Maintain up to date information throughout the season cycle.
* Create seasonal Directed Assortments per channel and level segmentation.
* Create seasonal initial line plan forecast in line with financial expectations and long terms goals together with the Demand Planning team.
* Ensure pricing is implemented on a style, color level in accordance with margin expectations as well as market parameters.
* Ensure all necessary parameters to be able to Go To Market are set up such as but not limited to relevant UPC codes, pre pack ratios, size curves, wholesale pricing, suggested retail pricing, and other sales tools.
* Ensure the European Consumer needs are met.
* Ensure the European Accounts needs are met.
* Work close with Demand Planning / Buying to ensure coverage goals are met.
* Set up process with Brand Director Polo Ralph Lauren & Huggies and Sales Department to receive input in the style selection and Consumer / Account insights.
* Assist to place on time seasonal style color buy with Haddad Global teams in NYC.
* Track any and all updates once line plan is selected till ready to be shipped.
* Maintain all communication with global regarding line planning.
* Assist to create and track seasonal drop and add list.
* Ensure proper seasonal handover to Demand Planning / Buying department.
* Continuously strive to improve and innovate HBE processes.

The Ideal Candidate:

* Min. Bachelor or higher. Can be compensated by relevant work experience.
* 5 years + work experience in fashion, kids retail, or sales environment.
* Relevant merchandising capabilities.
* Experience and knowledge of retail fluency and account profitability models to understand the industry.
* Experience and track record of success working with internal and external stakeholders.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to clearly articulate goals and objectives.
* Able to influence both cross functionally and vertically within the industry and marketplace and negotiate to obtain the best results for HBE.
* Fluent in English and French.
* Willingness to go the extra mile when needed, understanding that global communication can be on occasions outside normal office timelines.
