Nous recherchons pour notre client, un institut de recherche biomédicale de premier plan, reconnu à l'échelle internationale pour son expertise dans l'étude du muscle et des pathologies associées, un·e Responsable Grant Office Senior F/H.

Aujourd'hui implanté au coeur d'un écosystème scientifique et hospitalier d'excellence, cet institut s'appuie sur des équipes de recherche reconnues, des collaborations académiques de haut niveau et un ancrage fort dans des enjeux de santé à fort impact.

Dans un contexte de transformation et de structuration, l'organisation amorce une nouvelle phase de développement, avec l'ambition de renforcer sa visibilité et sa compétitivité sur les financements nationaux et internationaux (ERC, MSCA, Horizon Europe). La création d'une fondation Myologie dédiée constitue un levier stratégique pour accompagner cette dynamique.

C'est dans ce cadre que s'inscrit ce recrutement, avec un rôle clé dans la structuration et la montée en puissance du Grant Office.

Poste

Rattaché·e à la Direction du Développement des Ressources, vous intervenez en étroite collaboration avec la Direction de la stratégie scientifique, au coeur des enjeux de financement et de développement de la recherche translationnelle.

Dans un environnement exigeant et en évolution, vous contribuez à structurer une fonction clé et à accompagner les équipes scientifiques dans l'accès à des financements compétitifs, en France comme à l'international.

À ce titre, vous définissez et déployez la stratégie de financement, en identifiant les opportunités pertinentes et en positionnant l'institution sur des appels à projets structurants.

Vous accompagnez les chercheurs sur l'ensemble du cycle de vie des projets, de l'identification des appels au montage, à la rédaction et au suivi des candidatures, en apportant un regard à la fois stratégique, méthodologique et opérationnel.

En parallèle, vous contribuez à la structuration du Grant Office, en mettant en place des processus, des outils et des indicateurs de performance, tout en développant une relation de proximité avec la communauté scientifique.

Vous participez également à l'animation de cette communauté, à travers des actions de sensibilisation, de formation et de diffusion de veille, favorisant ainsi une culture plus proactive de recherche de financements. Vous jouez enfin un rôle clé de facilitateur, en contribuant à renforcer les interactions entre les équipes de recherche, la direction et les partenaires institutionnels.

Poste basé à Paris, avec possibilité de télétravail jusqu'à 2 jours par semaine.

Profil

Vous êtes titulaire d'un Doctorat (ou éventuellement d'un Master 2 complété par une expérience dans la recherche) en sciences de la vie ou sciences biomédicales, idéalement avec une double compétences en gestion. Vous justifiez d'une expérience significative (7 à 10 ans) au sein d'un Grant Office, d'une direction de la recherche ou d'une structure de valorisation, dans un environnement académique ou biomédical de premier plan.

Vous disposez d'une solide expérience dans le montage et le suivi de financements compétitifs, notamment européens (ERC, MSCA, Horizon Europe) et/ou nationaux (ANR), ainsi que dans la gestion de projets complexes. Vous avez un potentiel managérial affirmé.

Vous êtes en mesure de comprendre rapidement des enjeux scientifiques de haut niveau et de faire le lien entre stratégies de recherche et opportunités de financement.

La maîtrise de l'anglais courant à bilingue est requise, celle du français serait un plus apprécié ou la volonté de l'apprendre.

Doté·e d'un leadership naturel, vous savez fédérer des interlocuteurs exigeants et instaurer une relation de confiance durable avec des chercheurs et des partenaires institutionnels. Autonome, rigoureux·se et structuré·e, vous évoluez avec aisance dans des environnements en transformation, nécessitant capacité d'adaptation, priorisation, prise d'initiative et esprit entrepreneurial.

We are recruiting, on behalf of our client, a leading biomedical research institute internationally recognized for its expertise in the study of muscle and associated pathologies, a Senior Grant Office Manager (F/M).

Today located at the heart of an excellent scientific and hospital ecosystem, this institute relies on recognized research teams, high-level academic collaborations and a strong anchoring in high-impact health issues.

In a context of transformation and structuring, the organization is entering a new phase of development, with the ambition to strengthen its visibility and competitiveness on national and international funding (ERC, MSCA, Horizon Europe). The creation of a dedicated Myology Foundation constitutes a strategic lever to support this dynamic.

It is within this framework that this recruitment takes place, with a key role in the structuring and scaling up of the Grant Office.

Position

Reporting to the Resources Development Department, you work in close collaboration with the Scientific Strategy Department, at the heart of the funding and development challenges of translational research.

In a demanding and evolving environment, you contribute to structuring a key function and to supporting scientific teams in accessing competitive funding, in France and internationally.

As such, you define and deploy the funding strategy, by identifying relevant opportunities and positioning the institution on structuring calls for projects.

You support researchers throughout the entire project lifecycle, from identifying calls to building, writing and monitoring applications, bringing both a strategic, methodological and operational perspective.

At the same time, you contribute to structuring the Grant Office, by implementing processes, tools and performance indicators, while developing close relationships with the scientific community.

You also participate in engaging this community, through awareness, training and dissemination of monitoring activities, thus promoting a more proactive culture of funding search. Finally, you play a key role as a facilitator, contributing to strengthening interactions between research teams, management and institutional partners.

Position based in Paris, with the possibility of remote work up to 2 days per week.

Profile

You hold a PhD (or possibly a Master's degree complemented by experience in research) in life sciences or biomedical sciences, ideally with dual skills in management. You have significant experience (7 to 10 years) within a Grant Office, a research department or a valorization structure, in a leading academic or biomedical environment.

You have strong experience in building and monitoring competitive funding, particularly European (ERC, MSCA, Horizon Europe) and/or national (ANR), as well as in managing complex projects. You demonstrate strong managerial potential.

You are able to quickly understand high-level scientific issues and to connect research strategies with funding opportunities.

Fluency in English (fluent to bilingual) is required; proficiency in French would be appreciated ( Nice to have) or willingness to learn it.

With natural leadership, you are able to bring together demanding stakeholders and build long-term trusted relationships with researchers and institutional partners. Autonomous, rigorous and structured, you are comfortable evolving in transforming environments requiring adaptability, prioritization, initiative and an entrepreneurial mindset.

You demonstrate diplomacy, curiosity, pedagogy and humility, and are driven by a genuine interest in scientific environments and impact-driven projects. You are comfortable in interface, translator and facilitator roles serving the interest of patients.
