It infrastructure architect (data centre specialist)

Are you passionate about designing cutting-edge IT infrastructure that powers enterprise-scale operations? We’re looking for an IT Infrastructure Architect with strong Data Centre Management experience to lead the design, integration, and optimization of mission-critical systems.


🔧 What You’ll Do:

* Design and architect scalable, secure, and high-performance IT infrastructure solutions across hybrid environments
* Lead the planning and implementation of enterprise data centre systems, including compute, storage, networking, and disaster recovery
* Oversee capacity planning (power, cooling, rack space) and ensure efficient infrastructure utilization
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders, vendors (Cisco, Dell, HP, NetApp, etc.), and service providers to deploy robust infrastructure
* Establish infrastructure standards and drive automation, virtualization, and modernization initiatives
* Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption strategies aligned with business goals
* Contribute to business continuity and disaster recovery design, testing, and readiness
* Provide technical leadership across infrastructure-related projects and transformations


🧠 What You Bring:

* Proven experience in IT infrastructure architecture and data centre design
* Deep understanding of virtualization, IaaS, and hybrid cloud infrastructure
* Hands-on experience with enterprise hardware and systems from OEMs like Cisco, Dell, HP, NetApp
* Expertise in capacity planning, rack layout, cabling, and patching
* Familiarity with security, compliance, and service operations best practices
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Engineering, or a related field
* 8+ years of relevant experience, including 3+ years in a senior architecture or data centre role
