ServiceNow Developer - Freelance - 6-12 Months - Remote


Next Ventures are working with a global consultancy who are looking for a ServiceNow Developer to join their clients team.


As the ServiceNow Developer you will design, develop, and customize solutions on the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ServiceNow development, ITSM processes, and have the ability to build scalable and efficient solutions.


This role is for a 6-12 month contract + extension working remotely.


Responsibilities


* Design, develop, and implement custom applications and enhancements on the ServiceNow platform.
* Create workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, and data integrations.
* Customize ServiceNow modules such as Incident, Problem, Change, Request, and Knowledge Management.
* Integrate ServiceNow with third-party systems using APIs, REST, and SOAP web services.
* Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions..
* Perform unit testing and support UAT for ServiceNow solutions.


Requirements:


* 4+ years of hands-on experience developing on the ServiceNow platform.
* Strong knowledge of ITSM processes and modules.
* Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and ServiceNow Glide scripting.
* Experience with Flow Designer, Integration Hub, and Service Portal.
* Understanding of relational databases and data modeling.
* Familiarity with ITIL framework and best practices.
