We are recruiting on behalf of one of our clients for a Key Account Manager to cover the Paris area. Our client is a leading supplier of chemical products and ingredients for pharmaceutical manufacturing, research laboratories, and the cosmetics and personal care industry.
This position is aimed at a B2B sales professional with strong technical expertise and a solid understanding of industrial and scientific markets.
Main Responsibilities:
* Develop and manage a portfolio of strategic clients in the assigned territory.
* Promote and sell chemical ingredients tailored to the needs of the pharmaceutical, cosmetics, and laboratory industries.
* Provide personalized technical support and advise clients on product applications.
* Identify new business opportunities and contribute to the regional commercial strategy.
* Work closely with internal teams (technical, customer service, supply chain) to ensure customer satisfaction.
* Ensure regular reporting of commercial activities (CRM, forecasts, field visits).
Candidate Profile:
* Minimum 5 years of experience in technical sales of chemical products or ingredients.
* Proven experience with clients in the pharmaceutical, laboratory, or cosmetics sectors.
* Excellent negotiation skills and ability to manage complex B2B relationships.
* A scientific or chemistry-related educational background would be a strong asset.
* Fluent in French and English, both spoken and written.
* Valid driver’s license required.
* Familiarity with chemical distribution networks would be a plus for the future, but is not mandatory for this role.
