Job Description
Position under direct responsibility of the Director of retail channel marketing and sales Europe & Middle-East.
Main responsibilities:
o Playing an integral role in new business pitches and hold responsibility for the effective on-boarding of new clients.
o Create business proposals for new and existing opportunities.
o Give a rundown of the level of competition and general market activities basis to the Sales and Channel Marketing Director.
o Establish relationship with clients and provide high standard of customer service continually.
o Write business plans for all current and opportunity tender business.
o RfQs management
o Margin steering
o Competitive intelligence: Benchmark local competitor activity on 4P’s and general market approach, offer action plans and identify quick wins
o Negotiation and implementation of commercial agreements
o Contracting taking into account international tax compliance
o Budgets planning and follow-up
o Collaboration with supports functions: marketing, communication, logistics, controlling, legal, tax, business development
o Collaborate and mobilize international colleagues
o Leverage the international synergies
o Creating an internal network and knowing all stakeholders and functions to secure efficient knee-joint between marketing and retail key accounts
o Supporting local Retail Key Account Managers for local business development
Secondary responsibilities:
o Contribute to EU marketing plan definition: trends, local requirements
o Contribute to EU team best practice sharing
o Ad-hoc project management for the benefit of EU retail sales & marketing team
Qualifications
Qualifications
o Sales/Marketing master degree and/or Engineering degree
o Minimum 4 years experience in a Sales or Marketing role
o Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
o Fluent in French and English mandatory
o A third EU language is highly appreciated
o Independent automotive aftermarket knowledge is a plus
o Familiarity with project management methodologies
o High interest in data and figures
o Problem-solving skills and critical thinking to propose mutually beneficial solutions
o Successful experience of managing major retail national accounts at head office level.
o Strong account management and relationship building skills.
o Good relationship building
o Excellent supervisory, evaluation, and reassessment experience.
o Strong competence in working efficiently in a complex multi-faceted setting.
o Flexible, autonomous, collaborative, innovative, results and future oriented.
o High sense of responsibility, strategic thinking, positive and competitive attitude, teamwork minded.
o Experience abroad is a plus (studies and/or professional)
o Proficiency with basic MS package (Excel, Word, Powerpoint).
