Where will you be in the organization?
The division
You will join Group Procurement & Sourcing division. Our mission is to increase AXA Group competitiveness by optimizing the end-to-end Procurement cycle of external spend (excluding Insurance procurement), while building a high performance and risk-managed supplier based. We have a global and entity Procurement presence with 2 different mandates:
As Group, we:
• Leverage our purchasing power through global deals & key supplier relationship management
• Define & share Group vendor risk framework & outsourcing policies
• Provide and manage global Procurement tools
• Drive responsible Procurement across AXA
• Engage the Procurement community worldwide
As Group Operations (GO) function, we:
• Optimize the external spend by managing categories and suppliers, and challenging the demand to support AXA GO strategy
• Drive vendor risk framework and policies at AXA GO to ensure compliance with Group framework and regulations (DORA, Solvency 2)
• Develop GO procurement processes and implement local & global Procurement tools to support
• Develop responsible Procurement at AXA GO in line with GO Sustainability guidelines

You will be part of the team GO Vendor Risk Management, included in GO Procurement Performance & Operations.
About the job
As a Procurement Vendor Risk Lead, your main objectives are to:
- design and implement a new procurement vendor management framework for AXA Group Operations, based on key objectives:
* Improve operational excellence and become simpler,
* develop empowerment,
* and decide by data
- and run all related activities to ensure vendor risks are mitigated and monitored through-out the lifecycle of supplier contracts
Main missions
Your responsibilities include:
1. Driving the transformation of Procurement Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) to review and design a new Target Operating Model and associated processes & governance aligned with Group guidelines:
o Define AXA GO target operating model on third party risk management in collaboration with different GO subject matter experts (Legal, Data Privacy, Compliance, Information Security, Operational Resilience, Risk, Finance, ESG) with the objective to industrialize and simplify whilst ensuring compliance, risk mitigation and customer satisfaction in a pragmatic manner
o Review GO vendor risk management processes with a simplification mindset and in the perspective of new vendor risk management technology implementation (ProcessUnity)
o Lead the implementation of new vendor risk management tool (ProcessUnity) to manage vendor risks for AXA GO in collaboration with Group Procurement teams:
* Actively participate in workshops to implement newly defined processes within new technology
* Review potential gap analysis between GO processes and Group core model
* Define & deploy new risk guidelines
* Test the new solution with real cases scenarios
* Define change management strategy and training users (key stakeholders and the GO Procurement community)
* Define Risk KPI/SLA and monitor vendor risk throughout contract lifecycle
* Perform external benchmarking and encourage transversality where it makes sense
* Be very business-oriented to improve AXA GO Procurement experience to all employees by defining sourcing journeys, roles and responsibilities between the different stakeholders
2. Leading Procurement Vendor Risk activities
o Define & maintain for AXA GO, procurement vendor risk framework in line with Group framework
o Drive vendor risk process within procurement sourcing process in collaboration with category management teams.
o Organize & lead procurement vendor risk committees with different subject matter experts on critical sourcing deals
o Manage regulatory requirements within the procurement vendor risk process in collaboration with risk team :
* contribute to DORA Register of Information for GO products & services
* support local entity regulations when AXA GO delivers services to the entity as a provider and must respect local regulations (e.g. BAFIN with VATIT regulation)
* structure and provide answers to regulators regarding GO/ Group vendors & lead ISAF annual process regarding procurement activities
* Drive Outsourcing qualification process (Solvency 2) and report on GO Outsourcing critical deals to GO Excom (AOGS report)
* Work with the GO Risk Team to define and quantify scenarios of risk, follow risk mitigation plan, produce Group KRI on procurement and improve risk profile at the division level
* Be the GO representative as GO Vendor Risk KBU (Key Business User) in the different communities (Vendor Risk community, Procurement Tool community)
3. Collaboration / Stakeholder Management
o Work closely with key stakeholders as buyers and sourcing business partners (SBP) on procurement side and experts (Risk, Legal, Data Privacy, Compliance, Information Security and Operational Resilience)
o Work closely with Vendor audit expert to professionalize vendor audits
o Work closely with Procurement Performance team to get all group guidelines, group framework and standards to deploy in GO as entity. Share experience and feedback to influence and finetune them
4. Team management
o Manage a team composed of 1-2 direct reports and 3-4 off-shored resources based out of India
Expected skills & experience
We are looking for someone with the following experience and skills:
Experience
• 10+ years of professional experience required in matrix & international environment, with at least 5 years of experience in procurement
• Experience in third party risk management, vendor management, outsourcing is an asset
Technical skills
• Experience in working with procurement & risk management software solutions/technologies
• Experience in working with vendor risk management methodologies
• Experience in project/program management with strong change management component
• At ease with Excel and Powerpoint
• Languages :
o English - Fluent in speaking and writing
o French or Spanish are a strong plus
Soft skills / transversal skills
• Good business acumen: ability to rapidly understand, assimilate, analyses and act on complex business situations
• Able to think strategically, challenge the status quo and identify opportunities for improvement
• Strong transformation skills and want to be a lever for transformation and simplification
• Practical, hands-on & pragmatic approach to deliver concrete results and to structure the environment in the way that is necessary to drive actions
• Strong communication skills both oral & written with ability to tailor communication to varying audiences, quickly incorporate feedback and adjust accordingly. Ability to build effective & impactful presentation for C-Levels
• Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills with customer orientation
