About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and driven Account Manager to join a leading provider of contamination control solutions for the pharmaceutical and life sciences industry. This is a field-based role focused on direct sales to pharmaceutical manufacturers—no distributors involved.
You will manage and grow a portfolio of high-value clients while actively prospecting new business opportunities in the Silver and Gold customer segments. This is a strategic role with strong visibility and a clear path to front-line management within 2–3 years.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and grow existing accounts across Paris and Northern France
* Conduct regular on-site visits to pharmaceutical manufacturing clients
* Drive new business development through strategic prospecting
* Promote a portfolio of technical contamination control solutions
* Collaborate with internal technical and support teams to deliver value-added services
* Provide accurate sales forecasts and pipeline updates
* Prepare and present tailored proposals to key decision-makers
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience in technical B2B sales (minimum 5 years)
* Background in Life Sciences, Chemical Engineering, Microbiology, or related field
* Experience selling complex products or services (e.g. cleaning agents, disinfectants, validation services)
* Strong hunter mentality with a consultative sales approach
* Fluent in French and English
* Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the region
Preferred Background
* Experience working with or selling to companies like Merck, Thermo Fisher, SGS, Intertek
* Familiarity with contamination control, cleanroom environments, or pharmaceutical production
* Strong track record of revenue growth and client acquisition
