Valeo's VIE Program?

The Valeo VIE Program is available to citizens of the European Economic Area (EU + Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland) aged between 18 and 28. This program is to work for one of our subsidiaries around the world!

Business France, the French agency for international business development, is in charge of all the administrative procedures of your assignment. Make sure you meet Business France's eligibility criteria to apply for a VIE :

The site of Bietigheim-Bissingen based in Germany belongs to BRAIN Division. We are looking for a VIE Project Buyer for 12 months within the team.

Your challenges?

* You will manage the procurement of materials for mass production and projects, ensuring compliance with Valeo standards
* You will negotiate and manage pricing and agreements with suppliers, in collaboration with the site finance manager and segment managers
* You will ensure compliance by optimizing the implementation of all Valeo procurement procedures and standards
* You will maintain strong relationships with suppliers by coordinating and participating in regular evaluation meetings with preferred suppliers
* You will provide administrative support to the procurement management team as needed, ensuring smooth processes and communication
* You will promote best procurement practices rather than purely cost-driven decisions, ensuring quality and efficiency
* You will respond promptly to account-related requests and address any issues as they arise

Let's talk about you...
* You are graduated from a Master degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Logistics or Engineering
* You already have experience in Purchasing, Supply Chain/Logistics or Project Management (ideally in the automotive filed)
* You have a fluent level of English
* You have good communication skills, have an international mindset and are open-minded to new cultures and new ways of working and thinking
* You are humble, listening, positive attitude oriented, professional, and have the sense of diplomacy
